The Koopa twins in Wonderland Chapter 9

    As they entered the garden they had to walk through a very difficult maze. When they made it through, they heard voices talking to each other.

"Hey Four, will you stop slopping paint on me?" "What I didn't do it, One was the one whos been doing it." "Hey it's not my fault, its hard to paint with no arms". "Well you're right about that".

The cards were painting a white rose bush red. Hip and Hop approached them and asked "Excuse us but why" "are you painting the roses red?"

"Well the fact is you two that we accidently planted a white rose bush by mistake and the Queen only likes red roses". "Yeah if she sees a white rose, she will throw an enormous tantrum and have someone's head cut off!".

The twins were horrified about having someone's head chopped off. "Quickly we got to hurry and finish before the queen arrives for the daily inspection.

"Don't worry Mr. painters" "Yeah we'll help you out and finish the bush" They told them and they all began singing "Painting the roses red" as the painted.

They were about to finish when they heard a royal fanfare. "It's the Queen!!" the painters cried" "The Queen?" the twins thought. "Quickly you two kneel down and stay down." Four told them as they all kneeled down.

There was a grand parade of playing card soldiers doing a special dance as they walk down. There was also a marvelous red and gold carriage among the soldiers.

Inside the carriage was the Queen and King of hearts looking very grand indeed. Just the White Toad arrived currently out of breath as he blew a fanfare on his little horn.

"Hah, hah, hah make way for her most marvelous highness and majesty, The Queen of Hearts and along with The King of Hearts. All the cards cheered and whooped.

Something caught the queen's eye and went to inspect it. When she saw that a half finished rose was dripping red paint, she was furious and began to lose her temper.

"All right who's been painting my roses red ?, if no one comes forward I will begin to throw the biggest tantrum known to man and someone's head will be lose in the process". She looked down at the 4 card painter and gave them a very nasty glare. "Oh no please we're sorry your majesty it's all One's fault"

"SILENCE!!" snapped the Queen, "GUARDS,OFF WITH THEIR HEADS"!! she screamed. The twins quickly hid the painters in a very large vase. When the guards went to look for the painters the queen noticed the twins and glared at them and asked "And who are you two?"

Hip and Hop both gathered up courage to speak. "My name is Hip" "And my name is Hop if it pleases you" "Your majesty" They said politely in unison as they curtsied to her.

 "And just what do you think you two are doing in my garden?" she asked rudely. Hop replied "Well we're just trying to find our way home and" 

"YOUR WAY!! all the ways here are my ways" she said. "Oh by the way, do you two know how to play croquet?" she asked them. "Yes your majesty" the twins repled meekly.

"Well come on then and let the game begin" as they went to the croquet grounds.
